We have partnered with a third-party accessibility consulting organization, UserWay, to help bring the website into conformance. We utilize the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget and Automated Remediation Technology (ART) to enhance accessibility for all visitors. This technology applies remediation capabilities such as:
- Improving keyboard navigation with aids like focus indication and skip links.
- Ensuring images and other non-text elements have alternative text associated with them when required.
- Offering user-triggered enhancements (e.g., increasing font size, pausing animations, changing color contrast) that allow visitors to customize the site to their individual needs, often achieving WCAG Level AAA.
Manual Scans and Expert Review
We recognize that automated tools cannot catch every accessibility barrier. Therefore, we also invest significant amounts of effort into manual scans, expert reviews, and remediation of high-level accessibility issues. Our team regularly conducts internal audits and expert testing to ensure we address complex issues that automation alone cannot resolve.
